Nicola has been practising yoga for almost 25 years and teaching for over a decade. Initially beginning a Hatha practice at the age of 19 in a community hall during her time in Oxford, Nicola went on to really anchor her love for Yoga when she found the Ashtanga lineage in her early 20s upon moving to London.

As life has ebbed and flowed so to as her practice, but that anchor and connection to Yoga has remained as one of life's constants.

Nicola has always had an intuitive ability to read people energetically and this subtle connection to her students assists her in providing a level of support, that benefits all those who share her class. Nicola is gifted in guiding her students to where they need to be, at that point in time that they land on the mat.

Combining a teaching style that is light-hearted and approachable; Sequencing that is designed to release on a physical, mental and energetic level; All grounded with roots deeply embedded in Yoga Philosophy.

This multi-tiered approach offers deep healing and leaves students with a sense of lightness that remains with them long after they leave the mat.

What is Yin Yoga?

Yin Yoga addresses the connective tissue, which reduces pain and stiffness, improves body posture, strength and endurance and creates elegance, harmony, greater mobility, and health. It follows Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) wisdom, working with the meridian pathways of the body for healthy Qi (prana or lifeforce).
